Another busy week done and dusted at Welsh Cake HQ. As I'm sure you all will have seen, Wales have gone into a circuit-breaker lockdown, meaning that you're advised to stay at home and within your county, as well as all non-essential shops temporarily closing down. For many people this isn't the most ideal news, with yet another set of restrictions coming into play. However, the Welsh are known for our strong characters and determination so we'll get through it together! To keep you going in the meantime, we have some exciting new product additions to our catalogue, seeing as we have now SOLD OUT of all of our Halloween Treat Boxes due to high demand! For these new products you can expect kids treat boxes with 8 miniatures, rustic paper bag 6 packs and orange 8 pack party boxes all ranging from a very affordable £5-8. We've been absolutely blown away by the order response on the website this week from our fellow welsh cake community, securing over 25 orders in just 5 days - Friday is going to be busy with deliveries! These new products are also going to be sold from the the Hut on Friday and Saturday, so if you're in Cwmbran and fancy a stroll into town, come and say hi.
With Jeff obviously being incredibly talented in the kitchen, the rest of the family aren't too shabby when it comes to the art and creativity department.. A match made in heaven! We love coming up with imaginative and fun gifts you can give to a friend or loved one, for a birthday, thank you, or even 'just because'. Seasonal times are our favourite, as there are endless possibilities of ways to present welsh cakes, not to mention they make the most amazing present! New flavours are also in the mix at the moment, someone mentioned introducing a carrot cake flavour welsh cake... and with orange being the Halloween colour, well - you'll just have to keep your eyes peeled!
